Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:45pm.
1-3 ft
ankle to waist high and poor to fair conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Our mix of WNW swell slowly fades this afternoon with knee-waist high+ surf across most of the region. Conditions remain mostly clean, with a few plus peaks making it through standouts at times.
This Morning's report: Surf is down quite a bit from yesterday, but there are still some small, clean lines rolling through. Best for a big board.
Partly cloudy with light onshore flow.
WNW swell (280-300) has come down quite a bit this morning and is mainly in the knee/waist high range at the better breaks now (and will be fading through the day). Wind is light and conditions are clean.
SATURDAY: The early morning will start out on the slow side with mainly old WNW swell and waist high and below surf. New WNW swell builds through the afternoon with waist-chest high waves at the better breaks and shoulder/head high sets at top breaks late.
Wind/Weather: Light/variable early morning with possible leftover lump and bump on the water. W wind will build 8-11kts for the afetrnoon.
