Observed Surf Report by Schaler at 1:50pm

Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Thursday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: WNW swell continues to fade this afternoon as some new SSW groundswell starts to build in late. Onshore flow is putting some decent bump/texture to the surface at the more openly exposed breaks, with better breaks across the region in the waist-chest-shoulder high zone. Top exposures pull in occasional head high+ sets.
This morning's dawn patrol: Mostly clean, sectiony lines on tap this morning in the waist-head high+ zone. Looking fun if you can get into a good corner.
Mostly sunny with SW winds 5-8kts.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Fatburner.
WNW(275-300) groundswell fades through the day, with the largest surf holding on through the morning, as some new SSW(190-200) swell starts to show later in the day. Conditions are looking pretty good across the region again this morning with light/variable winds and a low-incoming tide through the morning. Better breaks have waist-chest-head high surf, while top spots are pulling in some 1-2' overhead sets.
