Light S winds, overcast skies.
SSW swell on tap today for knee-shoulder high waves. Standouts see inconsistent + sets around head high. Winds are light out of the S. The best spot to surf today is ARICA @ 3-5'.

Local surfer Oscar Morante died Monday, December 4th while surfing Caballeros, south of Lima; he was 63. Oscar, the former forecast reporter for Peru, was a great friend and waterman. He dedicated more than 30 years to serve the international surfing community. Thanks for everything, Oscar. You will be missed.
