Hola, this is Oscar with the report for Tuesday morning at 11:00am.
3-5 ft. - waist to head high and fair conditions.
Surf Report: SSW swell. Mostly around waist-head high.
The conditions are N wind of 2 kts and overcast skies in the morning. Water temperature is between 52 to 54 ºF and the air temperature is about four degrees more.
SW swell started to fill in along the coast with waves between 3 to 5 feet. Most areas are seeing WAIST to SHOULDER high surf with some of the standard spots like PUNTA ROCAS getting 4 to 5 ft sets.
Tides are: LOW (04.42hrs /27cm ),MIDDLE (09.21hrs /45cm ),LOW (15.04hrs /12cm ), HIGH (22.37hrs /94cm )
Some small but workable SW swell will be around for Tuesday and then weaker surf will settle in for Wednesday and into Thursday as light SE winds continue over the next few days. Some solid SW swell is on tap for the weekend and next week could bring a strong late season SW to SSW swell.

Local surfer Oscar Morante died Monday, December 4th while surfing Caballeros, south of Lima; he was 63. Oscar, the former forecast reporter for Peru, was a great friend and waterman. He dedicated more than 30 years to serve the international surfing community. Thanks for everything, Oscar. You will be missed.
