Hey, this is Sherwood with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:30PM.
3-5 ft. - waist to head high with occasional 6 ft. and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Surf gets up into the head high range this afternoon. Onshore winds are building and shape stays generally poor+ overall.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean surface conditions, but mostly closed out with a few semi-workable reforms on the inside.
Building onshore flow.
Mostly NW combo swell showing with a smaller/easing SW groundswell mixing in. The better NW exposures are around chest-overhead on sets with fairly clean surface conditions this early morning and dense fog in many areas. We have a 5.3' High tide at 11:15am that will drop to a 1.9' Low by 4:20pm.
FRIDAY: Mostly NW swell in the water with a small/easing SW groundswell under it. Surf hangs in the 3-5' occasional 6' range at the better NW exposures. Fairly clean in the morning.
Winds: Light/variable early. Then W/NW in the afternoon around 10-15kts.
