LOCAL NEWS: The Delta Delta Delta chapter at UCSB will host its 6th annual Surf Challenge, on Saturday, November 21, 2009 in conjunction with partnering sponsor Surf Happens and headlining sponsor Ultimate Boarder. This beach day is a great opportunity for the campus to join the community in fundraising efforts to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The main event will be an all ages Surfing Competition presented by Surf Happens for the Sixth straight year, and for the second year, hour long, learn to surf clinics.
