On the rise, this is Sherwood with the report for Saturday afternoon at 12PM.
SURF: 2-3 ft + thigh to chest high with occasional 4 ft. and fair conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: WNW energy provides fun, workable surf in the 3-4'+ range this afternoon. Top breaks go bigger, especially later today as more swell fills in. Onshore flow is on the rise, but conditions are still semi-clean.
>This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Inc. and lined up with some open faced and workable end sections.
WEATHER:
Building onshore flow, partly overcast skies.
NORTH SAN DIEGO'S REGIONAL OVERVIEW:
A solid oncrease in swell out of the WNW means a steady increase in surf through out the day. Waist to Chest high + waves are fairly common with some Head high set waves rolling through at the most exposed areas. As the tide continues to fill in towards noon some areas will back off a lot.
FORECAST SUMMARY: SUNDAY: Steep angled NW groundswell holds throughout the day with 3-4' sets wrapping in at the better NW spots. Standout breaks produce occasional waves that are around 5'+. Small SW swell mixing in with inconsistent 1-2'+ waves. Clean conditions throughout the morning and staying fairly clean for the afternoon as well.
Wind: Calm to light/variable to light offshore early. Then look for a light seabreeze to develop from the west for the afternoon.
