Hey, this is David with the report for Monday afternoon at 12:05pm. 2-3 ft + - waist to stomach highand fair - conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Still seeing some good waves roll through but you will have to deal with a bit of surface texture/bump now as onshore flow is on the rise. Still a pretty consistent 3-5' with a few + peaks at the better spots and the tide hits a full high of 4.3' at 2pm.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean, fun lines scattered about. Smaller than most spots but still some nice corners. Might be worth a look to the S of the pier.
Calm winds with clear skies. We have a fun, crossed up mix of all sorts of swells today with some fading W/NW and SSW swells as a new S hemi energy fills in and some tropical swell from Marie mixing in there as well. Surf is clean and glassy with calm to light offshore winds and nice peaky shape. Overall size has dropped a touch but its pretty consistently in the 3-4'+ range with head high+ sets at the better spots. Tide still has it a little drained out but it is on the rise to a 4.3' high at around 2pm, so it should improve on the tide push. TUESDAY: SSW swell peaks, S tropical swell holds, WNW swell fades. Waist-shoulder+ zone waves and head high plus surf at top breaks. Peaky from the crossed up swells. Wind: Light/variable early then increasing from the WNW around 10-15kts over the afternoon.
