Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Monday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Semi clean surf prevails this afternoon as old WNW-NW swell mix holds on. Better breaks have surf running in the waist-chest-head high zone, with a few plus sets for top exposures. The tide will be dropping out for most of the afternoon, with fun surf on tap across the region.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: A touch of surface lump/bump on walled up and somewhat warbly lines that offer some end corners if you can be in the right place at the right time. Occasional peakier lines cross up for some plus sets. Looks biggest/best in the middle of the beach.
Mostly sunny with light winds.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Fatburner.
Old WNW-NW swell mix is holding up some fun size waves this morning with waist-shoulder-head high surf at the better breaks, while standouts pull in occasional plus sets. Conditions are mostly clean and a 4.5' high tide mid-morning will slow some spots down a bit during that time. Look for some new WNW groundswell to show up late in the day.
