W is bowly, but dangerous and pushes into the rocks. NW is lined up and safer.
BEST SIZE:
triple-overhead to 80 foot faces before it closes out
BEST WIND:
E, but not too strong. Some guys like a slight onshore.
BEST TIDE:
Maverick's can handle all tides, but as for most of the spots along here, low and incoming to medium are best.

Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Monday afternoon

PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Winds remain light this afternoon, with the surf still looking a bit on the jumbled/mixed-up side as old WNW-NW swell mix holds on. Better breaks have surf running in the shoulder-head high+ zone, with top exposures seeing some 2-3' overhead sets. As long as the winds remain light, the dropping tide should help clean things up slightly.

This morning's dawn patrol: Not working.
