Hey, this is Chris with the report for Monday afternoon at 1:35AM. 3-4 ft. + - waist to shoulder high with occasional 5 ft. and poor-fair conditions.
This afternoon's overview: This afternoon a long-period WNW(285-300) groundswell is setting up waist-chest-shoulder+ zone surf for lots of spots and overhead sets at standouts. Light westerly winds for a slight bump now, more onshores due through the afternoon. The tide is dropping to a .1' low around 6:00pm.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Foggy. Expect clean and mostly closed out lines in the shoulder to overhead range.
W/NW winds 6-10kts+ this afternoon. This morning a healthy WNW(285-300) groundswell is topping out with chest to head high zone surf for lots of spots and overhead stuff at top breaks. Foggy with light winds for mainly clean condtions now, moderate WNW winds due this afternoon. The tide is climbing to a 5.4' high around 10:00am. TUESDAY: A near 6’ high tide around 11AM will be an issue through the mid-morning. WNW swell slowly fades with surf in the waist-head high range and some larger sets at top spots. Wind: Light/variable to light offshore wind early, turning W to around 10kts for the afternoon.
