Hey, this is Sherwood with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:50PM.
1-2 ft - ankle to knee high with occasional 3 ft. and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Weak, inconsistent surf in the waist high and below range this afternoon. Expect bumpy, sectiony shape generally calling poor+ overall.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Staying clean but super small and inconsistent. Expect smooth lines in the 1-2' range.
Light winds early build out of the WSW around 10kts this afternoon.
Fading SW swell combines with small NW windswell for weak waves in the 1-2' zone this morning. Conditions are clean, but a 4.9' high tide @ 9:30AM keeps shape soft and slow.
SATURDAY: Easing SW groundswell. Surf hangs mainly around 1-2' at the better Southern Hemi exposures on weak/inconsistent sets. Best for a longboard.
Wind: Light/variable early. Then building around 10kts over the afternoon from the WSW.
