Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:35pm.
1-2 ft
ankle to knee high and poor conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Mostly clean surf prevails this afternoon as our WNW and SW swells slowly ease. Most average breaks through the region are looking pretty minimal, while standout exposures are in the waist-chest high zone. Look for the dropping tide to help out those breaks that like the lower tide.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Weak, lightly textured little lines.
Partly cloudy skies with light onshore flow.
Our surf has come down from yesterday at most breaks as WNW swell (280-300) is fading and mixing with small SW swell (205-220). Average breaks are in the 1-3' range, while top NW spots are a little better. Winds are light and conditions generally clean.
SATURDAY: Small mix of building WNW swell and easing SW swell. Average breaks see 2'+ surf, while top NW and combo breaks hit waist high+ sets and even a little better late.
Wind/Weather: Light/variable early morning with possible leftover bump on the water. W wind will build 8-11kts for the afetrnoon.
