St. Patty's Day!, this is Schaler with the report for Wednesday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Fun zone surf prevails this afternoon off a mix of peaky WNW-NW swell and small-scale SW energy. Most breaks continue in the waist-shoulder-head high range, with 1-2'+ overhead sets for stadouts. Conditions remain mostly clean across the region under sunny skies and light onshore flow.
THIS MORNING'S DAWN PATROL: Glassy but pretty inconsistent overall with some long lulls of flatness in between sets. So you will have to be patient and wait for the sets, which look fun when they do show up. Plus sets.
Mostly sunny with light winds, building out of the W through the afternoon.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Mini Fish.
New WNW (290-300+) groundswell has filled in overnight and picked up surf across the region. Most breaks are in the 3-4' range while standout exposed spots are up to head high and occasionally overhead on the larger on sets. Conditions are nice and clean with calm to light offshore flow and the tide is rising to a 4' high right around 10am. Overall, its looking like a great morning to get wet and catch some fun waves!
