1-2 ft - ankle to knee high with occasional 3 ft. and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Dense coastal fog lingers in some areas-making it hard to see the water. Expect small, weak, peaky little lines in the sub-knee to waist high plus range on sets. Conditions are semi-clean with light to moderate onshore winds in the afternoon. This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean little dumpy lines and lines with some short ends.
Light to moderate winds 5+ kts out of the W for the afternoon.

FRIDAY: Slow start with old NW windswell and with small SSW swell mix early for clean, but weak, 1-2 occ. 3’ surf at the better breaks. New WNW builds in through the day with chest-shoulder high sets by sundown.
Wind: Offshore N/NE flow early, building W winds 8-10kts in the afternoon.

Last year BHM successfully sent two kids from South Los Angeles to Hawaii to participate in Hawaiian culture, surfing and additional learning experiences. BHM is an entirely volunteer based operation that is asking for the support of the greater surfing community to help it send two more youth participants this year. Please visit them at www.boardinghousementors.org or you can mail a check to: 2633 Lincoln Blvd., #400, Santa Monica, CA 90405.
What’s your surf spot worth? Help us find out. Researchers at UCLA are conducting a survey of surfers who surf at California surf spots to evaluate their worth. You can help by visiting this link and filling out the survey: http://www.beachology.com/surf. Your participation can help us better protect and manage California surf spots in the future.
