Observed Surf Report by Schaler at 1:20pm
SURF:
1-2 ft
ankle to knee high
Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Tuesday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Breezy WNW-NW winds are putting just a slight texture to some of the more exposed breaks through town this afternoon, with conditions remaining fairly clean for most spots. Our mix of NW winds and groundswell eases slightly, with better breaks in the knee-waist-chest high zone, with plus sets for tops spots. Expect a little extra push on the low-incoming tide this afternoon.
This morning's dawn patrol: Clean, crumbly little lines breaking close to shore.
Scattered clouds with WNW winds 10-15kts+.
Today's waves are best suited to the
SUP.
NW(295-310) groundswell slowly fades through the day, mixing with some NW windswell, with decent sized surf for the region. Better breaks have surf in the waist-chest-head high zone, as top spots are pulling in some 1-2' overhead sets. Conditions are semi-mostly clean at most spots with light NW winds as we come off an early morning high tide.
