Hey, this is David with the report for Monday afternoon at 12:45pm. 3-5 ft. - waist to head highand fair+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Still seeing a fun mix of swells for surf in the 3-5' range. Onshore flow does have some texture to the surface but its not that bad as shape is still peaky with nice workable shoulders. Tide hits a 4.3' high at 2pm.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean, peaky lines with the largest surf found through the Stables and Pipe area. The sets look really fun.
Sunny skies with W/NW winds to 10kts. This morning we have several swells running: NW ground/windswell mix is now dropping off, while SSW Southern Hemi is holding (185-215) and there is also a bit of S swell from Tropical Storm Marie as well. Overall surf is good size and conditions are clean with light offshore wind. TUESDAY: SSW swell peaks, S tropical swell holds, WNW swell fades. Best early with knee-waist-chest zone waves and better sets at top breaks in the south county. Peaky from the crossed up swells. Wind: Light/variable to light offshore wind early then increasing from the W around 10-14kts over the afternoon.
