Windy mess!, this is Schaler with the report for Tuesday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Sloppy, windblown surf prevails this afternoon with NW wind/groundswell mix and small SSW swell on tap. Winds are breezy out of the WNW 10-20kts+, with better breaks in the waist-chest-head high zone, and some overhead sets for top spots. Looking like a great afternoon to get some work done, stay in school, etc.
This morning's dawn patrol: Sloppy surf and whitecapped seas on offer this morning. Not looking rideable.
Scattered clouds with WNW winds 10-20kts+.
Today's waves are best suited to the 
Super Fish.
Onshore winds out of the NW have been howling all night, with NW windswell spiking, mixing with steep NW(295-305+)groundswell and small scale SSW(190-200) swell. Conditions are looking like an absolute mess at all of the openly exposed breaks this morning, with a ripping North to South current. Better breaks have waist-chest high+ surf, with head high+ sets for top windswell exposures.
Health officals advise against any ocean contact within 72 hours of a rain event due to elevated bacteria levels, especially near rivermouths, harbors and drainpipes.
