Sean Poynter and Cafe Karibo Ready for Second Annual "First Surf" Free Surf Clinic
July 3, 2009
PRESS RELEASE

This July, Sean Poynter and Cafe Karibo along with sponsors P5 Productions, CrossFit Amelia Island, Freak Traction, Driftwood Surf Shop, and Pipeline Surf Shop will be hosting the second annual First Surf free surf clinic. First Surf was created with the concept of Tiger Woods' "First Tee" free golf outing as a model, and will provide underprivileged kids (adults too!) the opportunity to see what surfing is all about. The surf clinic will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 8:00 A.M -- 5:00 P.M. at the Sliders Beach Access on Fernandina Beach and will be an all day affair of fun. The clinic is free for everyone and will feature lessons in water safety, surf etiquette, and board riding. Also, there will be delicious foods from Cafe Karibo, free giveaways, raffles, music, etc. It will be a day to remember for the participants and for us, the volunteers.

Registration forms can be filled out and dropped off at Cafe Karibo located downtown Fernandina Beach at 27 North 3rd Street. The event will be limited to the first 160 registered participants, so make sure to get your registration forms in early, as it will fill up quick.

If for any questions you can send on email to FirstSurf09@aol.com

Thanks.

We hope to see you there,

First Surf
