Quiksilver Foundation celebrated International Surfing Day this past weekend with a beach clean-up at Bolsa Chica State Beach with the help of Quiksilver and Roxy, Surftech, Sambazon, Bolsa Chica Wetlands Conservatory, Taco Bell, HB Nissan and Surfline. With NSSAs just around the corner, Quik's grom team who is in town for the Nationals event, came down to fill the lineup and lend a hand to pick up trash. The squad in attendance was Jesse Guglielmana, , AJ Collins, Tanner Strohmenger, Mauro Diaz, and Critta Salisbury took over the dumpy beach break making the most of the choppy three footers. Charging with an arm cast, New York's Balaram Stack paddled out on a 10 foot SUP board to pick off some of the outside sets. Mauro Diaz of Puerto Rico took advantage of the day to practice his punts along with Quiksilver's newest teammate Fisher Heverly.

Quiksilver Foundation and Surftech raffled off a surfboard, wetsuits and Surfline VIP memberships. The proceeds from the raffle were donated to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands Conservatory. To finish off the day, Taco Bell rolled up in their brand new taco truck to serve up free lunch. Starting this week the truck will be embarking on a national tour and giving out free tacos along the way.
