*About the film:

Legendary waterman and 9-time World Bodyboarding Champion Mike Stewart has built a reputation as one of the world's top watermen by consistently charging many of the world's most formidable surf spots, and has been a dominant fixture at Hawaii's Pipeline since the early 1980's. Additionally, Stewart was one of the elite few that pioneered deep tube riding at the infamous Teahupoo some 20 years ago, and has dominated professional bodyboarding competitions as well as bodysurfing events for more than two decades.

This film is the culmination of his life's journey as a wave rider and isn't your typical "surf film". It incorporates artistic elements in addition to incredible footage shot both of and by a man that many consider one of the world's all-time best wave riders on any vehicle.

South Orange County, California's Scott Carter has been involved in surf photography and cinematography all his life, growing up riding the spots around South County on all forms of wave-riding vehicles. He has released several bodyboarding films in the past 18 years that are considered some of the most influential pieces the sport has seen. Scott has also staked a reputation as a top photographer and is currently enjoying success with sales of some of his recent images in local galleries as well as abroad.

Both will be on hand to premiere the film as well as sign autographs and answer questions about the film. Additionally, there will be raffles and giveaways at the event. Tickets must be purchased in advance either online, in person or by phone at: http://www.ebodyboarding.com
