Dr. Phillips High School Students Earn Top Nod For Art And Music Program at Hurley's "Walk the Walk"

WHO:
Students from Orlando-area high schools Dr. Phillips High School, Boone High School, Edgewater High School, and returning champs Winter Park High School, along with 2,500 cheering spectators

WHAT:
A runway fashion face-off using Hurley's summer 2009 men's and women's collection, as interpreted and produced by the students.

Show themes included:
"Braves Rock Hurley " by Boone H. S.
"I Believe In..." by Winter Park H.S.
" Hurley High School " by Edgewater H.S.
"Living the Dream" by Dr. Phillips H. S.

Hurley's design team judged the schools on a 10-point scale based on overall vibe, crowd support, flow of fashion show, creativity, energy, hair and makeup, school spirit, promotional strategy, and illustration of Hurley's brand message.

Schools also participated in a Design Challenge to create head-to-toe looks from scratch that could be featured in a future Hurley collection: The winning guys look was created by Boone H.S., and the winning girls' look was created by Edgewater H.S.
