San Diego surfers may be ready to close the book on this winter,
but the season that, for many, can't end soon enough, supplied a week's worth of fun size surf after a trio of swells stacked up last week. The sleeper of the week, and swell window for that matter, was probably Tuesday. Reports of good, clean surf from North and South County came trickling in.

and peaked in the morning on Saturday, and with favorable weekend conditions, the surf stayed fun enough in the waist- to shoulder-high range while the more exposed breaks saw bigger surf. Sunday and Monday even snuck up and turned out to be nice, little gems. As the air temperatures stayed up and the wind stayed down, a swell on the decline produced a few memorable, less crowded rides. This is a small collection of moments from the week.
