Hey, this is Kevin with your South Los Angeles Forecast effective Thursday afternoon.

Forecast Recap:
SOCAL on THURSDAY: NW swell was easing today and mixed with a slow rise in new SSW Southern Hemi swell. The better NW/combo breaks picked up chest-shoulder high surf, while top NW breaks continued to see some overhead waves.

BRIEF OUTLOOK: WNW swell will fade on Friday as SSW swell builds in further. A weak coastal eddy will continue through Friday. Check the forecast for further details and the longer range outlook.

Forecast Outlook:
FRIDAY: Smaller/fading NW swell with small SSW swell also in the water and showing primarily in the north half of the bay. Average breaks drop down in the 1-3' range. Top exposed breaks to the combo of swells in the north half of the bay, see occasional sets to chest-shoulder high.
WIND/WEATHER: Light/variable morning wind, with moderate+ W flow building over the afternoon.
