SURF REPORT
Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:30pm.
SURF:
2-4 ft.
knee to shoulder high and poor to fair conditions.

PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: We have textured, mostly walled surf on offer this afternoon as our WNW and SW swells slowly ease. Better breaks through the region are good for waist-chest-shoulder high surf, with plus sets for top exposures. Most breaks are seeing occasional pick and choose corners.

This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Torrance is foggy and really tough to see. Hags still has some lines rolling in around waist-shoulder high, although somewhat inconsistent. Its fairly clean, but watch out for the building tide to really shut Hags down.

WEATHER:
Partly cloudy with SW winds 4-9kts.
SOUTH LOS ANGELES'S REGIONAL OVERVIEW:
Surf is down from yesterday as WNW swell (280-300) is fading and mixing with a small SW swell (205-220). A fog bank has rolled into parts of the South Bay making a few breaks tough to see, but 2-3 occ. 4' surf is showing at many spots with some plus sets at top breaks. Conditions are generally smooth with light wind.
FORECAST SUMMARY:
FRIDAY: Watch out for the big mid morning high tide, which will slow some spots down. WNW swell fades with waist-chest high surf at the better breaks in the South Bay. Top breaks still see a few larger sets in the shoulder high++ range early and possibly a little better.
Wind/Weather: Light/variable early, becoming light W over the afternoon.
