Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Friday afternoon at 1:55pm.

and very poor conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Sloppy, Victory at Sea conditions prevail this afternoon as our WNW swell rebuilds. Average breaks arein the knee-waist-chest high zone at best with surf in the head high to a few feet overhead range. Not looking very surfable at all.
This morning's dawn patrol: Mostly clean, lined-up walls continue againg this morning with some good corners to be had.
Overcast with SW winds 5-10kts.
We have slightly jumbled surf on offer this morning as some new WNW(290-310) swell reinforcements move in this morning. Most average breaks through the region have surf in the knee-waist high, as standout WNW exposures are pulling in surf generally in the 4-5-6' range with occasional plus sets. Conditions are semi clean with light winds as the tide fills in to a 5'+ high just after 11am.
FRIDAY: WNW swell is holding pretty steady through the day with waist-head high waves at average breaks, standouts see some overhead sets by a couple feet. Conditions cleanest early. Big high tide through the late morning slows many spots down during that time.
Wind/Weather: Light S early and building through the morning. Steady S to SW by mid-morning and through the afternoon, shifting NW after dark. Rain is possible.
